then taken the train back to Rawcliffe but I did not to show up in the middle of the night so got off at Thorne.  I find him in good health and fairly good circumstances.  There is no brickyard here now some 20 years ago or so some Liverpool men leased the land for 999 years and turned it into a sugar mill.  The mill did not pay and has not been running for years.  He was made caretaker of it and lives on the place.  He has a few chickens 2 cows and 2 heifers,...

He was made caretaker of it and lives on the place. He has a few chickens 2 cows and 2 heifers, he had a pony until a few days ago he says he will buy another in a month or so. I did not know until I got here that he had married again
