Dear Mary

Had a great trip yesterday took the underground tube over to a place 10 miles away saw 4 aroplains up and go up then I went over to another place called Wormwood scrubs to see 3 large airships one happened to be out to try the engine it kicked but they went up turned around some and came down again they are longe like an egg painted or enameled bag with wires and ropes fastened to flaps on the bag to hold up the engine the engine sits on a cutter or two runners

the wires hold up the engine and the tail fins are worked by wires or ropes to tip the nose up or down, two men went up in it, when they come down they have to get hold of some thing they bring it about 3 ft from the ground it goes up and down great,

Will go back to camp tomorrow morning have had a good time here things are cooked better, I sleep real good after these rides on the top of these auto buses. I went to St Pauls Sunday morning and heard the organ this time, I forget which places I  told you I have been, was on Trafalger Sq. Nelson’s Monument Regent St West Minster Abby I dont think Ill go to the zoo

While I was at the Scrubs a man took me in to see the sergent of the guard he has a great job for the rest of the war guarding the works around the airships, some way I would like to get a job like that this man came from Canada six weeks ago, I think I will go back their now and see if I could get a place their some way, hope you are feeling as well as could be expected dear will be glad when I can get a letter now and again they will be coming every few days now I hope when I get to Camp I wrote Fred and Geo.

How is my big bunch of kids getting along, alive and kicking soon be time to go to school now. Don you want to eat lots and look at your spelling and you will be man be for your mother hope you are all well,.
