Dear Sis:-

This is going to be a very short note as I have you and Mother to write to and 15 minutes to do it in,.

We are having lovely weather here now and I am having a pretty good time, only Iam put on fatigues an awful lot, which destroy the pleasure somewhat.

I suppose this change will upset my mad[?] a lot and a lot of it will be lost. But it is the way of the army. By the way I have been in the army one year yesterday. Not bad eh! Time goes fairly fast.

It is funny isnt it? When I was in the 10th Sieg I was glad to meet anyone from Truro. When I was at Witley I was glad to meet anyone from Nova Scotia. And now that Iam in an imperial[?] camp I am glad to meet anyone from Canada at all.

A, I said this was going to be should but I will try and send you some post cards of the place.

Lovingly
Ludlow
