Well this is our last day here we leave in the early morning (Saturday). Your registered letter to [?] the 25$. Have enough money now for a while. Will make it last as long as I can. We are all excited now that we are leaving, and wonder what the future will bring. However we will, I think add to the glory & fame of the Seaforth before us, by doing our very best. Will write from France at my earliest convenience. One very long [?]etc. Am feeling fine.
