Dear Mother:-
Well dear I suppose you were relieved when you got word to say I was wounded again. I got hit on a raid the morning after I wrote you that last letter.
I should have written you before but I thought I should leave it till I got to Blighty. I think the best thing is to address me care of Mrs. Row until further orders. I shall be doing some tall moving around before your answer to this letter reaches me and I always keep in touch with ‘Aunt Florrie' as we call her.
I got wounded in the foot, leg & arm by a German grenade, all flesh wounds & clean but enough to keep me away for a while. I guess my luck still holds.
Love to all,
Jack
P.S. Send $15 or $20 through to me c/o Mrs. Row. Send in bills in two letters.
