Dear Mother:-

Rec'd your very welcome letter last week. You never told me what battalion Evert was in yet.

I am enclosing a couple of letters from Syd.

There is not very much to write about. We are having church parade and yesterday we had service in the town hall and on Easter day there is Holy Communion to be held there so I'll be able to attend I expect.

Remember me to Harry Sargent and his wife and I wish them every happiness. Be sure and get me a photo of Art and May if they come to a decision. Be sure and let me have one of Frank.

We are having very unsettled weather here just now but I expect it will soon settle. Some of the leaves are out and the country is beginning to look less dreary.

Well love to yourself and the kids.

Jack
