TO CHIEF PETER MOSES AND
INDIANS OF OLD CROW DISTRICT,
NORTHWEST CANADA

On behalf of the citizens of the Metropolitan Boroughs of Bermondsey, Lambeth and Southwark, in the County of London, we extend to you our sincere thanks for your generous gift of money, with which clothing was purchased and presented to forty six orphan children of our Boroughs on the 5th March 1942 by the Right Honourable Vincent Massey, P.C., High Commissioner for Canada.

The children, all of whom lost one or both parents during the air raids on London, are truly grateful for the gifts, and send their love and best thanks. They will always remember the kindly thought which prompted the Indians of Old Crow District to make this gift, which has forged yet another link of friendship between the great Dominion of Canada and the Mother Country.
