INSTRUCTIONS FOR SOLDIERS RETURNING FROM OVERSEAS
No.2 District Depot will pay you and get you away on leave as quickly as possible upon arrival, probably within an hour.
KITS are CLOTHING may be checked and left at the Depot until your return from leave.
CLOTHING may be exchanged at Q.M. STORES.
A FREE TELEGRAM may be sent to your Next-of-Kin from the Depot, -TELEPHONES are also provided for your use.
TRANSPORTATION will be provided for soldiers who live in Toronto or Vicinity, -Rail transportation for those out of Town.
ACCOMMODATION WILL be provided for those wishing to stay in the Depot.
PAY up to the end of your leave will be given you on arrival NO MORE payments will be made until the first regular PAY parade after your return.
EXTENSIONS of leave cannot be granted except in extreme circumstances.
PERMISSION TO MARRY must be granted by the C.O. in order to be assured of collecting allowances.
MAIL should be picked up at CAMP POST OFFICE on return from leave.
GASOLINE COUPONS may be provided upon application to your O.C.
HOSPITALS. Should you be required to go to Hospital, your relatives and friends will be transported there quickly. Should Disembarkation leave be granted from Hospital you will return to the Hospital upon expiration of said leave.
BAGGAGE. You will be issued with a Baggage check on the train which must be attached to your Kit Bags and the stub retained by you. On arrival, any tagged Kits will be placed on the South side of the Platform. The Baggage party will take them inside and you can re-claim them before leaving the Reception Building.
DO NOT LEAVE THE RECEPTION BUILDING UNTIL YOU HAVE LEAVE WARRANT, RATION COUPONS, PAY, etc.

ATTENTION IS DIRECTED TO CARO 4165 AND PARA 433 (a) KR CAN GOVERNING INTERVIEWS WITH THE PRESS.
STATEMENTS OR INTERVIEWS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR PUBLICATION WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING PERMISSION FROM YOUR COMMANDING OFFICER.
