Dear Mary and Fred and Agnes

I received your letters O.K. last night so glad to receive them we are in it hot and fierce will try and put a few lines in this for you all, try and get a little store or buisness to keep the kiddies out of other peoples hands untill they get working for them selves do this, if I do not come home parcels do not come that Mother wrote about, Marys candle is a dandy in here and thoes candies the kiddies the kiddies helpt make were the best I ever tasted and that great cake and good letters I got Agnes’s book while in the H it was O.K. was fine so glad to get things don’t for get keep the kiddies good for all time remember this be wise about there different natures live with them talk to them about all nature in a wise way and know what they are before they get full grown and bring them up in the right way with [paper burnt at edge] them knowing its [burnt] nature is very tricky you do not want to forget or over look what I say at this time or this talk my pen does not do well I got Agnes’s dandy letter last night and Mary’s of Mar 15 wish she would say which letters she got of mine but she may have writen some that I have not received [several words blotted out here [crossed-out/censored] last night we had a bad time will take better care now glad we are giving fritz no chance now, they are not any good, Mary’s letter was just the kind of news I like to get [oh?] no chance to write in here

write about what things you get from me, will be out again for a day or so and then in, then I will write, the walking is the worst this trip, have a cold well will close with love and kisses
