Dear Buck,

You’re going to be sorry you wrote that letter telling me about all the chips you’re making these days. Because I’m about to put the touch on you.

How about doing your brother, the floot loot with the govt suit, a favour. Would like you to send a couple of boxes of Welch’s chocolates over here to my English girl and her mother. I’ll send a couple of quid to pay you back as soon as I can. Spent all my money on my leave, but what a time. What a lovely girl. Woo! woo! way! way! If you cant get Welch’s get somebody else’s that are good.

I stayed at their place for a week. Jeanne told her boss she was sick so off we swished off to London every day. Too bad we weren’t there the night the lights came on again. That would have been a doozer of a party. But I brought some champagne back from France so we had some good parties anyway.

The address is
      Miss Jeanne Moran
      68 Oxford Close
      Mitcham
      Surrey, England.
and her mothers name is Mrs. M. Moran at the same address. O.K.?

Whistle them over here in a hurry or I’ll bean you the next time I see you. Will send you a bottle of perfume from Paris for your trouble. On the way back over here I spent a night in Brussels. What a place. Bands all over the place and dancing in the streets. We’re having nothing but fun these days.

Well, all for now. Thanks a lot. See you in the funny papers.

Sandy.
