SEVENTY THOUSAND ZOMBIES

Seventy Thousand Zombies, isnt it a farse
Seventy Thousand Zombies sitting on their arse
Eating up the rations, morning, noon and night
Squatting here in Canada while others go and fight.

Seventy Thousand Zombies, hear the bastards sing
“Here’s our thanks to you Quebec and old Mackenzie King”
Never mind our comrades, let them be the goats
As long as politicians protect their slimy votes.

Seventy Thousand Zombies refuse to play the game,
God, our fair Dominion must hang its head in shame,
“Recruits are badly needed” you hear the urgent shout
But Seventy Thousand Zombies cry “SO WHAT WE ARE STAYING OUT”.

Signed,
     Not one of them.
