My Dear Mater,

I believe yours is the only February letter I have had as yet, and I don’t feel much like writing to-night. I am very restless these days; don’t know whether I am going to London or not and I think I have the Spring fever, generally.

You must have had quite a time getting around Toronto. I had no difficulty in Paris, as I had studied the map pretty well in the French Revolution and know the plan of the City pretty well.

I do hope Dad is better by this time. Of course as long as the cold weather lasts, I suppose he will have more or less cold. It is quite mild here and were it not for the fog, would be not half bad.

I sent two of my negatives to London for enlarging and the prints came back last night. They are beauties. I have the negatives of the three piece picture over there now, to have a single negative made and if it is good, they will make an enlargement from it. As soon as I get the print, or find out they are not going to enlarge it, I will mail them home.

Things will probably be quiet till the troops get home and get settled, when business should be better than ever. I think our population will increase rapidly. Canada has been pretty well advertised, during the war.

It will certainly be fine if Uncle Will could work up a good business. I suppose it has developed from the doll’s head affair; likely using the same clay, furnaces etc.

There have been a few rumours about us going to England to take over a hospital, but I don’t think there is anything in it. We heard that No 3 General at Boulogne, were packed up, waiting orders for England, and instead, got orders to prepare 1400 beds. I think the Flu is holding the hospitals. Of late our treatment has been very successful, but for some time few, who really had it, recovered

Flannels have arrived and, are all right. I am holding them till I hear for sure, about Blighty.

There is no doubt about us getting that gratuity for six months, as my three years will be up in May.

Love to all,
Your loving son,
Worth.
