My Dear Mir,

Just a line Dear, to thank you for the box of biscuits, which I appreciate very much. Also recieved on the same mail, a parcel from the Mater, with soup, sugar, cocoa, etc, which looks good. Hope to get into the soup to-night.

I am glad honey, that you are off nights, as it will be not so hard on you. Personally I don’t mind either, but when it comes to both – but I can’t kick at all. I honestly fall asleep at my books, but am getting caught up on my sleep now.

Must get to work again Dear – 7.30.
