Dear Sis:-

I trust you are receiving these to your old adress as of course I haven’t received your new one. Things are much the same with me here today – gone tomorrow style but I have enjoyed each few days leave I’ve managed to wrangle. I visited the Pyramids, Sphinx and Cairo so have some snaps to send you when I get a chance. My camera and kit have not yet caught up to me so I have to use Jeffs, otherwise I’d have more to send you. I’d hoped there would be some mail for me but there wasn’t any so if you adress my mail as above it may do better.

At present we are in a tent, no beds or furniture so you will excuse the writing. I hope you and John are well and happy as I know you must be; I’m fine of course though the flies here are bothersome and at present we are sort of roughing it. Have you been to Montreal yet or do you have a chance? My love to you both and best of everything –

Laurence.
