Debert to Halifax.
Dearest Mother and Dad
I have just a few minutes for this line to you. I am on the train now bound for Halifax and then overseas. If you do not hear from me for three or four days you will know I’ve gone. My address as far as I know now will be
Sgt. T.B. GRAY R58225
RCAF HEADQUARTERS GREAT BRITAIN
C/O BASE POST OFFICE, CANADA.
There is a chance but not very good one that we will not be going right away. I hope we are though as I’m tired of hanging around. I hate to accept McKenzie King’s money for what I’m doing.
There is something I might tell you Mother. We will have at least three months training after we get overseas. I will try to see Hampton as soon as possible, of course I don’t know where we will land but will look up some of these people when I can.
There is little remains to say now. I will write you again whenever I can. Best wishes for Easter. Wish I were home.
Your loving son
