Just a line to let you know I am still well and feeling fit. My rest here is agreeing with me fine as I feel as well as I have ever felt this past year. It still rains in torrents here while with you I suppose every day is getting nearer to summer and the flowers will soon be in full bloom.
I have not made arrangements as yet to send home the $100 or thereabouts but I expect to this week or the first of the month.
The fighting down here is quiet just now on account of the terrible rains and floods but at the end of May or beginning of June I suppose it will liven up and we will be getting the big trucks to work again. Until then I expect transport will be dull except for the light transport such as Fords Buicks, Overlands, Hup mobiles and others mostly American make.
There is nothing startling down here in the line of news. The only boys leaving the country at present are being invalided on account of recurring fevers or being completely run down. As for me I would rather stay here till the finish than have to leave as an invalid and I don’t look like one now.
I wrote to Dad about ten days ago and also one to Reita and Aunt Dell and one to George Bryson These I mention because it is some thing unusual for me to write to them.
Well Mother Dear I will have to say Good Bye for now hoping to get a letter soon I will close.
With love to all
