My Darling Agda

How is the girl tonight. I wrote to you last night but it is difficult to get letters away from here. The nearest P.O is at Sandy Lake five miles north, and Charlie (that’s the boss) will not let a team go there unless it is necessary, and I hate to trust your letters to some Galician passing to town. I felt kind of blue yesterday for some mysterious reason, but today I have been harry all day, even when I was sweating over some post holes I was digging. Why is that Darling? I can’t tell why is should be so. Here is my Daily Report for the day. Monday. August 4th 1919. Weather Cloudy and a little rain. Reveille 5.30 a.m. 5.30-6.30 clean out stables, feed and groom 4 horses. 6.30-7.30 Wash and breakfast 7.30-12 noon digging post holes for implement shed. 12 noon to 1.30pm Dinner, 1.30pm-6pm Plowing with 4 horses on Gang plow. 6.0 . 7.0 pm Supper 7.0-7.30 pm hauling in hay 7.30-8pm went for a swim. 8- ok now writing a letter to the Dearest sweetest little girl in the world. Don’t you think I am getting to be some farmer? Plowing is the best thing I’ve done yet, but if it keeps fine till tomorrow it means more stooking, and I don’t like that very much. Tomorrow night I believe I shall go to some kind of a dance at Smith’s the only English farmer around here, as the end of the month my own little angel I intend to come down and see you if I may for a couple of days. I shall try to come down from Tues the 25th till Monday Sept 1st Cheerio Sweetheart my kind Regards to Ma, Pa [?] and Arthur
