Dear Ma, Pa and Ruth.

I received your letters today. The weather has been fine today but it sure is a lot colder here these days I didn’t get a letter from Art yet but I guess I will get one any day now. They didn’t have a moving picture show here tonight but they are having one tomorrow night that I haven’t seen. I think I will go and see it. The news in the paper sure is good these days. I hope you got the money order I sent O.K. It sure took a long time to get the check from the reserves. It seems like they sent it up to Midlands by mistake. How is the weather in Vancouver these days? How is your leg now Pa? I guess Art has arrived in Toronto by now. How is Joe Keegan making out these days? Last month seemed to go pretty fast. The apples that you sent should be here any day now. The last bunch you sent sure were swell. I am O.K. I hope Ma Pa and Ruth that you are all O.K. Well I guess that is about all for today. I will write again tomorrow.

Love to all,

Rubert.
