France
December 2, 1917
Dear Folks,
Will and I are most singularly fortunate in meeting like this in France. His column is parked about a mile from the spot where I am billetted. We are spending this Sunday afternoon together. It is a clear, cold day, weather unusually fine for this time of year.
Hope you will be able to make use of our little present, which as you can see is the real hand made thing. Bill got hold of it in ------- and allowed me to share half.
With very best wishes for a happy Christmas and love to all,
George
