Dear Mother & Daddy

Just a line to let you know I am well I have just received a letter from the girls. Thank them very much I can’t write of them all this time but I will try to soon. One of them tell me that you are having a dance in the school I guess you will have got it over before now was it a good one. Did you get my letter asking you to send me a letter stating my age and when I was born If not please do a soon as you can. We are on the move now I will send you a card when we get back into the line so you will know where I am.
