Dear Son
Just a line to wish you a Happy birthday & I hope you will be in good health to enjoy it. I sent you ten dollars last night. I hope you get it in time for your birthday. It is three weeks since we got your last letter. You sure are falling down on your writing. Please write by Return air mail & let me know how you are. did you get my last air mail letter. Helen has sent you a birthday card & pictures of the kids. It might be a little late in reaching you. Art Moore sends five dollars of that 10.00/xx so you will write him & thank them both & don’t forget to ask about Margaret. I still wear the pin of the L.S.R. Would like to get one for the Q.O.C.H. We are all in good health. We have had a few days of warm weather but for two days now it has rained & bordering on the freezing point. Had to start the furnace. I might have to re plant the garden as this much rain might spoil it. Andy is looking for a letter from you, Aunt Nellie sent you a parcel. Well Son I’ll close & everybody says Happy Birthday. Please write return Air Mail love from all Dad
