Dear Ollie:
This is Thur. night received your letter this PM. You must have plenty paper out that way but never mind class is done and will have plenty time to read them only you don’t send enough of them. Well we will be home Sat. noon if nothing splits. We have our passes, or at least they are signed. Would have come home tomorrow. Squire is on guard today and won’t be off until 11-tomorrow morning. The three of us are coming but don’t suppose we can get any recruits, but can try. Have party Sat. night and we will put it to them for fair. Am not going to write anything for can talk better Sat. Tell John to have business on Sat. noon for I don’t like to walk. Oh yes, Squire had two letters from Spin. It would make you laugh to read it. He can’t come but he says his heart is with us just the same. That will do us a lot of good eh? Will bring it out when we come. It’s worth keeping you bet. Haven’t heard from any of the rest of them I wrote to.
Had letters from Aunt Aggie this week. She is sure hurting herself using pen.
Well I am in hurry. Got to go down town for hair cut. Guess you will think it’s big hurry by looks of this writing but if can’t read, burn.
So long till Sat.
Jack
