With reference to Headquarters’ telegram of the 20th September, I have the honour, by direction to inform you that a communication has been received from the Officer in Charge Records, Canadian Expeditionary Force, London England, to the effect that enquiries are being made regarding the casualty of the officer marginally noted and that, on completion of the same, a report will be rendered to Headquarters. When this report is received its contents will be at once conveyed to you, for transmission to the father of the deceased.
