Dear Chrissie

I am writing these few lines to tell you I havent got anything to write about so it couldn’t be much less. Well old ked how are you getting along anyway Say Chrissie you have got to send me a photo with your spec’s on. Why the deuce dont you sit on them. You can’t have much to do as you wouldnt get time to read to find out wether you need glasses [are?] not, but there I suppose Arthur and I are such poor writers that you need glasses to make out what is in our letters SAY IF YOU CAN’T READ THIS I’LL WRITE NEXT LETTER WITH BROOMHANDLE AND TAR

Well chrissie it is beginning to look a little like spring and by the time you get this letter the snow will be beginning to perform the vanishing trick Say If you get to fat and hot this Summer you might send me along about 30 pounds I think this is all at present So God be with you till we meet again
