My dear Sister

I wrote you last week with all the news I had. I have nothing atall new this week, We did not get down today to Dundurn as we expected, but I guess we will go next week, The weather here is very wet [?] cold just now. I can hardly get sleep with lightings & thunders they have done some damage here too. You were asking in your first letter where did I go when I left the steps on the boat the day I left. Well you know when the boat moved away I lost sight of you I tried to get to the high steps but I was turned back by one of the sailors. You could not go about as you would please in them big boats as you would in the [?] boats. I was trying to make you out in the crowd but I could not. My head was getting sore with the shoving so I thought it better to go down and get supper and go to bed. Have you opened yet in Cregoory who is going there? Who is in Hugh Boyd's house?

Well as I have no news this Week I will wind up hoping to hear from you soon Whats wrong with John when he is not writing did he get my letter. Closing with love to you all

Your Loving Brother
