Seaford July 9

Dear Mother, here I am in the camp YMCA along with two old Malkin boys. We walked into Eastbourne yesterday and had a good time. I got your letter this week, will write soon, lots of my old friends here. These cliffs are very steep, our camp is just behind them, I was sitting up there the other evening. Hope you are all well & happy.
