Dear Corporal Mayse

I shall be delighted to welcome you here at any time that is convenient to you - your room is ready & sign you have only to take a train to Ipswich any day & any hour and you could send me a wire to announce yourself - though even that is not necessary. I tried you last night at 9.30 P.M the hour at which I received your telegram, to tell me that Ipswich is over station. There is a very good train leaving London - ( Liverpool Street Station). - at 3.10 . another not quite so good starts at 3.20 -. On Ipswich the porter will advise you how to get a taxi to take you to Helinham - 10 miles. This taxi driver is my affair - I must explain - and takes the place of sending my car to meet you - which I would do if I had one - but now this taxy is my only carriage. If you prefer an early train pray come whenever you like -

[?] sincerely
