Dear Emma

Had a letter from Jack; se has heard from Syd and Frank, but myself, not lately.

How is Bessie with her typing? She should carry on with her schooling first. Let her finish one thing at a time. If you take my advice, (which you won't), put her to school next fall. This has been a holiday. After the first struggle she will give in and in the end be better equipped for life's struggles.
