Dear Mother

I've taken up the England game of Rugby, not much different from Cnd but it sure gets you into shape. Haven't heard any bombs yet but we have heard alarms. We have been out on a few short trips, no accidents as yet, hope it stays that way. Hear from Fred Harris, he is coming to see me Sat. no other letters from you yet, I'm looking forward to more soon. Don't like these fireplaces for heating, your back freezes while you cook in front. Everything is going swell nothing to worry about, please send me Orval's address.
