Dear Brother
Just a few lines to let you know that I am well hoping this will find you the same. Well Johnnie I am in the army now. Ive been here about a week dont think very much of this life. Although they use us pretty good here we get lots to eat but it is pretty cold sleeping. I guess I will like it better after a while I havent seen or heard from Norman for a long time I heard he was in Vancouver at Xmas but I wasnt there then he may be in the army in Vancouver for all I know do you here from Dan those times I had a letter from him last fall he was in Orpington Kent. Then I guess we will be going over seas pretty soon We got orders to be ready any day now. How is [?] getting along and all the rest of them. Well John I have no news to write you so I will close.
