Diary

Bn. moved from RED ROSE marched two miles and enbased for the South. Camped at MERVILL for the night. I was orderly officer and was left with the rear forty to clean up and follow later. Bus did not arrive for us so we had to stay over night. I got food from No. 3 camp depot for 16 men. Wrote letters all evening, and went to bed. Bus arrived about midnight but I asked driver to have rest until daylight.
