Dear Es and Bill,

I've just received your parcel and received everything intact, including the pen. Thank you Bill. The rest of the eatables were devoured almost as soon as I got the paper off. I was almost swamped with parcels this trip, with yours and Donny's coming in together with 1000 cigarettes from Ann and Mike. In no time at all I'll be able to corner the cigarette market.

Of course everyone within hearing distance of me has had to look at the pictures. Of Patty and Marie, also Ralph and Peter, and I've been accused of being the father of all four. I'm glad to hear that everything is going so well at home and all news both ways continues to be good news.

I'm going to miss being at the free for all at Xmas day. Maybe I should save the tin of spaghetti and meat-balls for old times sake. Hope that everyone is well at home and can say that both Frank and I are fine.

So long now,

Your brother Tom
