Ordered to proceed to 5th Bn. with ten men for various Bn's in 1st Div. Left at 6:30 from ETAPLES. Train very slow. Arrived at EBBLINGHAM about 3:30 P.M. Walked about 4 miles and found Bn at a large farm or old Dairy & Home for Boys. Three Coys in buildings. One Coy & officers in tents. Given ARCHIE MILLER for batman.
