Mr. and Mrs. John Bell,
Innisfree, Alberta
Dear Friends.
It is with feelings of profound sorrow that the members and friends of Trinity Methodist Church learn of your recent bereavement. Words prove quite inadequate to express the sympathy we have with you, in this bodily separation of your son. And yet there is reason to rejoice in the honorable and heroic sacrifice which your son, one of the multitude, has made, thus purchasing an enviable name for his folk and insuring a memory ever dear and respected amongst his friends. How well he has measured up to that standard of lone[?], confirmed by Him who said "greater love hath no man that this that a man lay down his life for his friends."
In this time of sorrow we pray that God may richly bless and sustain you. May He so sanctify this affliction to you that you may have a more precious revelation of His great Heart of Love .
Again assuring you of our kindliest sympathy, Signed on behalf of the congregation,
Hartley W. Watts (Pastor.)
