Dear Aunt Myrt –

I haven't written for quite some time, but I'm usually late with my letters anyhow.

I'm back in England on leave, at present in London but I hope to get up to Scotland yet, before I left Holland I sent you a souvenir from there. And while I was in Calais France for two days on my way over here I picked up some French perfumes which I’ll send along as soon as I can.

Hows everything up on the [Zlaf?]? Howie was telling me he'll be up for a week this summer.

I read in our paper not long ago when they are trying to blow Halifax up again fine things.

Well Aunt Myrt I'll write again soon until then

Bye
[S?]
