My dear little Eric
I got your letter this afternoon & was delighted with it, what a clever little boy you are getting able to write real words. I hope you will write to me often. I suppose before very long you will be going to school. Mother tells me you hair is growing again of which I am very glad, by the time I come home it will probably be alright.
Give mother, Gwladys & Frank my fondest love & don't forget yourself.
Your loving Dada
