My darling girl,
Still no letters but I know it is not your fault. Well darling I am still at the same place & do not know when I shall be joining my battalion. Stirring events are now happening but I guess you know as much if not more than I do about the German offensive, as yet however the Canadians have not been engaged. I hope you are all comfortably settled by this & made all arrangements for Frank's & Gwlady's [sic] schooling. Things are going along much as I described in a previous letter, have met a few old 32nd men, also officers not yet seen Dick Waller but hope to very shortly. The weather today is much colder & threatens rain, so dont expect to to [sic] hear any Bosche [sic] planes tonight, for the last four nights they have been very busy flying around our neighbourhood & our Anti Aircraft guns have been very busy. Well darling have not much to tell you this time, am kept fairly busy & feel in the pink. Fondest love to you & the bairns & give them all a hug from me.
Your loving hubby,
Jim
