July 24 - Spent the day loafing about town, called at Will Robinson's office, met some of the old gang: Harve Hall, Bill Beamish and others. Waiting for my Active Service pay cheque from Ottawa and got it today, afternoon mail. Had tea at the Alaire Smiths, went with Ruby up to the Burnhams and spent the rest of the evening.
