Letter from Pte. Agar

To The Speaker:
"Find enclosed $1 to cover my year's subscription. Kindly change my address from Toronto to 23rd Batt., Dibgate Camp, England.
"I arrived in England on the 14th June with the draft from the 35th Battalion C, Toronto. We are to be reinforcement for the first contingent. We are at Shorncliffe which is the Canadian headquarters and camp. There are quite a few wounded from the 1st contingent in hospital and camp here, but I have been unable to locate any of the boys from the north. One of the boys was saying he had been in the same company with Fred Flowers, of Thornloe, but could give me no information as to his where-abouts. I think probably you know more of what is going on than I do here."
J.M. Agar.

The Speaker has returned the dollar to Mr. Agar, and would be pleased to send the paper free to every one of our boys who has left Temiskaming to fight for his country.
