Dearest Dad Mother Bro & Sis & Duke,

Well dearest Dad I just received your swell letter and believe me I was sure you'd call astonished seeing your writing by left hand. I was shocked as I couldn't believe that you could write that good gosh Dad I must say you're the most intelligent of men I ever saw you're got more courage than any men alive so keep that marvelous work up Dad. Well Jerry M. was telling me that you were worried at home and didn't believe that I was fine here well I swear to my Catholic's honour that I am really feeling 100% believe me I'm working in the Doc's office now and like it real well. I took that last operation to be put back to A-1 again as the war is nearly over and they aren't sending us boy's who have already been back again So you or I haven't a thing in the world to worry about. I went to Mass this Morning and also took in a show this evening and no am writing to the dearest people in the world. I also got 300 cig's from Joe Sanderson Sat. so I must write and thank him for them. Well there isn't a heck of a lot I can say right now so I'll sign off wishing you all the very best of Health and all the luck in the world to all of you and above all may God bless you dear ones.

From your Son Bro who Often thinks of you
