Dear Mom,

You will be pleased to know that I have at last received the chocolate parcel you sent Oct. 30, complete with mouth organ and shaving articles. What a feed I've had since I got the chocolate. Thanks a million. Mom, it's really swell of you. Thank Brenda for the mouth organ and tell her I've started to learn Chloe. The instruction book is going through the censor now. I am also [?] the list from food parcel to be collected on the 23rd, but I don't know where it's from. Your last letter dated Nov. 25, was received by me some weeks ago. All Canadians here have the same complaints about mail. I am very anxious to receive some of your letters but I suppose I must just hang on until the mail comes through. I hope you all are as well and happy as ever and I'm always thinking of you. Don't send any more clothing, just food or chocolate or books. Don't spend too much money on parcels, Mom. Thanks again. Love to Brenda & Jim. Tons of love Syd.
