My dear Dad:
Got quite a bunch of letters this morning so I guess it's up to me to answer some of them.
I was very glad to hear that you are getting through the cold weather all right. It must be a beggar according the cold weather report I received from Fern.
I got Kathleen's clipping about poor old Dooly and I am returning it to-morrow. You see where Mr Hurst speaks of a dauphin That is the bus I am flying. I have not written to the Hursts yet but will do so one of these days.
I am very interested in your talk of California. I think it would be a good thing for you. I wish you had been able to have gone away this winter.
I am getting on O.K. as usual. Lots to eat and not too much to do altho I know you will speak up as usual and say I would be better off if I were busy. That means more shows over here as shows are all that we have to do here. Spend our spare time fiddling around our buses, chopping wood, playing football, writing letters, walking into town and so on.
My bus has been in the repair shop for the past week but I hope to have it going to-morrow. I broke a lingerm[?] the other day. I will have to cut this short as I must go down to the hangar and see that the wings are put on right. That will finish the job and I will take her up in the morning for a test.
Take care of yourselves all of you
Love
Gord
