Dear Mother
I hope you are all quite well. thank you very much for your Parcels. I got one from Mrs Griffen & another from MrsWareham will you thank them for me. Mrs G. didnt send any address, it is very good one them to send the parcels to me. I should like to hear from Maggie I hope that she has got my my address all right. I never heard any more of Ted. P. I am very much afraid that he was killed. I had a lot of letters from different people asking if I could tell them of different fellows. I hope that you have been having nice weather lately, it has been very fine here the last week or so.
I got a parcel of under clothing from the Canadian Red Cross today & two Shirts & two pair of Sox, so I am all right for clothes now I am glad to hear that the crops are good this year I suspect that it makes the Boys pretty Busy now. I got the Book's you sent me, back from the censors the other day the Trench Book is a very good one. I havent much news this week, but I am hoping that it wont be long before we all come Home I dont know of anything that I want at all now, dont send any more money, I got enough now to last me for a long while, you see we have to buy this note paper & the cards & matches & that about all.
Thank Emmy for her parcel with love to all at Home
I remain
your loving Son
