My dear Sister

Your letter of the 11th came to hand today was glad to have so many news It surely must have been hard on [?] to leave so soon after the Dusary wedding. I had a letter from him on his arrival in Aberdeen and I got some of the news, he said it was just like Christys wedding at Balemore you know when in cycled in with her wedding dress. So if it was like that it must have been a tough one.

You will see by the above adress tht we have moved again, we arrived here today Sunday. I was a week today to see Doddie a [?] I had a letter card from him and he happened to be quite close to me, he was to come to Bulford today to see me, we moved all of a sudden and now he is about 8 miles from me. Of course Ill be as kind to him as possible no matter what happens after the war. I know there will be quite a few fancy things pulled off.

I dident hear much about me overstaying my leave I got off I onely wish I had stopped 3 days more, it would have been just the same.

It was kind of funny the way I came across Miss Campbell's cousin. She came on board in Dunnegan and of course the pipers struck up the old drone, and then the dance began. She was just as fond of dancing as Effie herself, my first dance since the night Campbell's house 3 years ago. I enjoyed it very much.

I wold be more than pleased to see Alick up here it would do him a whole lot of good I don't expect to go his way anyway as we expect to leave any day for France. That's the day we are all longingly looking forward to.

Hoping to hear from you soon.
Ewen.
