Dear Mrs. Robertson

I take the liberty to write you.l We had a letter from my brother Pte Wm Forbers 7th Batt Canadian Contingent and he told us to tell you that he and your Son Davie was picked up by the Germans and your son Davie is all right he is wounded in the leg also So they are both prisoners of war now. I expect you will have word soon from your son Davie as this is the first letter we have had from my brother

As we had word last week from the war office that my brother was missing so I expect you have had the same so this note will ease your mind till you get word from your son
