No 424447 F Coy 32nd Res Battn Risboro Barracks Shorncliffe 23/11/15 Dear Sister I receive your letter and parcel on Sunday afternoon thanks very much for the same, we are having a little better weather down here since the last time I wrote. I had a letter from Maggie this week to, I suppose she will be going home about the end of this week, there is quite a lot of Canadians left here yet, all the bunch that McWilliam came over with may be all gone but there is a lot left yet there is 1400 men in the Battn that we are in, so you can see that there is some men left and there is five or six more Battns beside ours, we are started on our musketing course this week so it will be a change for a while, we are not shooting yet we are just going through a preliminary course as they call it it is just getting into of all the different positions, but we will get at the range in about a couple of weeks well I think that is all this time hope this finds you all well as it leaves me fine. I remain Your loving brother Alex
