No 424447 F Coy 32 Res Battn Risboro Barrks Shorncliffe 28/1/16 Dear Sister I received your parcel yesterday and everything was all right thanks very much for it, we just sat down and eat everything before dinner, I am glad to see that you are all improving in health up there hope you will soon all be in your usual good health as I am fine myself, The weather is not very much better down yet, but we do get one good day once in a while just to let us see what sunshine is really like, we have no word of going away yet there has been a few boys out of our Company went away to France but I don't know whether there was any more went or not but there is some going out of the Battalion nearly every week, I had a letter from Maggie this week to, she writes to Hugh every week and does seem as though she would like him, but I don't think she wants to take anything serious, for I know that he does not, well I think that is all this time. I remain Your loving brother Alex
