Armoury Virden Man(itoba) 18/4/15 Dear Sister I received your letter last week so I will try and write a few lines to let you know that I am still alive, we have been having some very nice weather out here for some time now, the two Roneys1 are not down here, Tom2 came down here to join, but he was too small and I didn't think they went any other place, I had a letter from Lizzie some time ago, they were all well then, Bob3 is working for the people that I was with, I don't think that it is worth while troubling about sending any papers out here as I don't read very much now, I don't know what to write about as there is not much doing here, we are getting $1.10 a day and our board and we are spending it, but once we get into camp we wont spend so much as there wont be so many places to go to, but we might as well have a good time now while we can, I don't know when we are going to get a move from here, but I guess as soon as it is warm enough for to go into camp, we will be going away from here. I remain Your loving brother Alex
