Dear Brother,
Your fellow members appreciate the fact that you have given your service to your country in this hour of her need. You have not hesitated to sever ties of friendship and love now to sacrifice the promise of a bright future. All things you have counted as [?] if but your life might help bring relief to a stricken people and advance Christ's kingdom.
We shall miss you in our meetings and in all our associations had we trust that this will not be for long, that you will soon be coming back. Be assured of this- Our thoughts go with you and our prayers rise up continually that you maybe keep safe from temptation and unharmed in battler.
