Were relieved by the 101st Ifn. Bde. (British). Every thing satisfactory. Now back at Mouchy Legache. Expect my papers any time to return. Have been given a good report on by Col. Paterson. Shall call on Col. Sims, Can. Representative before I leave France.

Will not leave a stone unturned to get a place here and with the credentials I now hold if I do not get a place there is something rotten & wrong and it is not with me.
